Comment Contest!

Taking a break from BOOK BY ITS COVER this month mostly because I don't have many poems left and I need an easy contest while I slave over reviews.

Inspired by Lee Verday's contests, I'm hosting a contest of my own...using comments...a hoard of comments.

Rules:
  1. Play nice.
  2. You must have a US mailing address. I am broke.
  3. This contest will end on September 30th. It begins now.
  4. Your 1st comment must include a contact email.
  5. You may only comment on Saturdays from 12:01 AM EST to 11:59 PM EST (EDIT: Shoot forgot about internaional readers who have US addresses. Okay the same rules apply to you guys, just not the EST. 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM Saturdays.) Any other days your comment will be deleted. As for those of you who commented on the contest post a while ago, you guys can pick one other day (aside from Saturdays) to comment spam.
  6. Be intelligent. Your comments must be more be longer than 2 letters not counting numbers. If you do this:
Comment 1: Entering!
Comment 2: Second entry
Comment 3: Third!
...etc...
I will rip your tongue out and feed it to some goldfishes/snapping turtles. Seriously I get all the comments sent to my inbox and if I read that for 454239755578 times I will be annoyed.

Suggestions:
  1. You can leave a comment right after your first comment and the comment after that, and the comment after that etc.
  2. You have no limitions on the amount of comments. It's called comment spamming. Go right ahead, leave 50 a day if you want. It's up to you how many entires you want.
  3. You can come back the next Saturday and comment as much as you like.
  4. You can strike up a conversation with another commentor.
The Prize:
Winner's choice of my ARC of Candor by Pam Bamchorz OR my ARC of Give Up The Ghost by Megan Crewe.

Have fun! Hoping to reach past 1000 mwhaha.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  99. I never thought I could come up with a lot to say in comment contests... but apparently I can. You know why I'm sad? It's labor day weekend so no mail for TWO WHOLE DAYS. Well at least I bought a lot of books today at The Strand so I'll have something to keep me occupied. He he(:

    ReplyDelete
  111. Okay theres no one on the comments to talk to so I will talk about a subject close to my heart-
    YOGURT! :)

Yogurt rocks. I lovelovelove it, and heres why:
    1. It tastes really good.
    2. They come in pretty colors.
    3. They are a weird mix between a solid and a liquid, like Jell-O.
    4. They come in whipped, thick&creamy, and regular form.

I wasn't finished with the first book yet when the show came out, but I tivo'd it.
I'm almost finished with the book so I'll probably end up watching the show tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I know by who the characters are though that they are nothing like described in the book.

    ReplyDelete
  136. I guess they tried for Stefan and Damon but they arent quite what I pictured.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I hope they dont change the plot of the show away from the plot of the book.

It bugs me when they do that.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Also, for anyone who has read the Sookie Stackhouse books, and watch True Blood, are the books and the show alot different?????

I really need to read those books. :)

    ReplyDelete

    Hmmmmm, that would be interesting....

    ReplyDelete
  140. Okay this one isn't book-show releated but....

  167. U- Up. Give UP the Ghost.
    What, its a cool word.
Also the word "up" is used in Thumbs-Up, which is often used in good reviews...

  168. W- Wonderful. The main charecter likes to expose people at her school's secrets. Ans thats pretty wonderful. (To read about, not if your secrets have been exposed) :)

    ReplyDelete
  169. X- Xlophones are not mentioned in this book. And of course xlophones are not good in a book...

  174. Giving Up the Ghost also sounds interesting because the ghosts aren't scary, but friendly.

  175. I'm so happy! My books from Barnes and Noble came in!

    ReplyDelete
  176. I bought myself a new membership so I went crazy with the coupons and discounts.

    ReplyDelete
  177. It was ten. OMG. Bought way too much. Went crazy, eek!

    ReplyDelete
  178. I was so amazed that that many books could fit in such a small box. When I stacked them up on top of each other they must have been a foot and a half high!

    ReplyDelete
  179. Then later I went to the library with my friend and got five books! Whee! So much reading to do, I'm so happy!

    ReplyDelete
  180. I got Song of the Sparrow, Madapple, Silver Phoenix, The Summoning, and Wicked Lovely.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Oh man I had to click 'post comment' three times for my comment to appear. Weird.

    ReplyDelete
  182. But anyway I've read Song of the Sparrow already and now I'm reading the Silver Phoenix. It's interesting I suppose.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Btw, have you ever got owned by a blind man? It hurts.

    ReplyDelete
  184. I've got the huge strawberry on my knee to prove it.

    ReplyDelete
  185. Man, I've entered so many contests and giveaways for Give Up the Ghost but I've never won any of them. =(. Haven't even come close!

    ReplyDelete
  186. With luck and determination, maybe I'll succeed this time. Heh.

    ReplyDelete
  187. Wow these are the most comments I've ever left on someone's post. LoL.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  189. Okay that's enough comments for now. Maybe I'll come back later to post more.

  190. I am slightly scared that you will feed us to turtles...especially since there are turtles on your background. I am quite shocked there are no goldfish, but crocogators, cranes, and butterflies. I think that I am more suspicious of the butterflies - but only because I have Rampant which has taught me to never underestimate the cute ones. ;)

Anyhow, I hear you on the blogging addiction and having reviews up the wazzoo. Hope you are still enjoying the books in the meantime!
